Germany´s highest waterfalls fall 163 metres down the valley. The enormous force of the waterfalls create measurable ionic air which is considered to be good for your lungs and thus is extremely healthy if you suffer from respiration problems. Every year over half a million tourists visit this natural phenomenon. Due to its very mild climate Triberg is a well-known health resort, offering not only the beautiful waterfalls, but many further attractions too - for example the Black Forest Museum and the Baroque style pilgrim church of "Maria in der Tann".

However, the most important element of the Black Forest is its free nature, with its lovely hiking and skiing areas, climbing rocks, possibilities for cycling , nature reserves and fantastic views.

Nußbach belongs to the community of Triberg with about 1200 inhabitants living in the 13 surrounding valleys. The village has been described as one of the most beautiful villages in the heart of the Black Forest. The true beauty of the Black Forest can be seen along the valley's many pleasant hiking paths and in the mountains. From the 1050 metre high “Stöcklewald” tower, you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Black Forest as well and the Swiss Alps.
